Another Cablevision Professional Leaves As Experts Question Jim Dolans Strategy
Marketing EVP Jonathan Hargis, that has been with the organization since 2000, may be the latest higher level professional to bolt — which’s certain to leave traders much more baffled compared to what they were before about Boss Jim Dolan’s plans forCablevision. The state word is the fact that Hargis will resign this month “to pursue other possibilities.” But the organization release didn’t title a alternative, which indicates that Jim’s wifeKristin — who’s senior executive v . p . of product management and marketing, and part of the Cablevision board– will have a larger role.Experts who've attempted to find out how broad a mandate she's, and just how Jim intends to manage things, state that they’ve yet to listen to satisfying solutions. Just before Hargis’ departure, BTIG’s Wealthy Greenfield advised management let you know that Kristin matches. “We believe she's been using the marketing reins (unclear whether John Hargis continues to be with the organization and what's role is) and it is presently leading the companys efforts to re-orient the marketing message its Cablevisionscable items,” Greenfield authored. He isn’t the only person who’s concerned: The Road was stunned late this past year when John Bickman resigned as leader of cable communications, carefully followedby respected COO Tom Rutledge (now Boss of Charter). That left Cablevision’s management team with “big holes,” Bernstein Research analyst Craig Moffett stated prior to the latest departure. A week ago Jim Dolan rejected to inform experts with an earnings call why Rutledge left.
